Hi insiders, let’s start off with a recap – HLF is still ripping upwards. Since the last email, it’s up from 12 dollars to over 14 dollars. Hard to tell where it goes from here, I think I can call this one a success. I’d like to see how HLF continues its turnaround. Moving into some new longer term analyses, lets look at some new stocks that insiders are betting have some kind of turnaround. First one I want to highlight is ZEUS. If you check the chart below, insiders have tended to sell into strength and step in near periods of weakness, which is exactly what you want to see. It’s not perfect, but the signal quality here is real. These weren’t random trades, they were generally well-timed relative to major moves. Worth keeping an eye on how this one develops. The stock itself, Olympic Steel (ZEUS) is a U.S.-based metals service center that processes and distributes carbon, coated, stainless, and aluminum products to industrial, construction, and manufacturing customers. The business is highly cyclical and closely tied to steel pricing and broader economic conditions, which has led to significant swings in revenue and profitability over time. Management has been working to diversify the business toward higher value-added products and specialty metals to smooth out earnings across cycles. As a result, ZEUS tends to trade more like a macro-linked turnaround name than a steady compounder. submitted by /u/RelevantAside_ |
